A cat, whose name is Flora n her left eye was stabbed by some sharp article n found by a volunteer, at a construction site in Hou Fok street in TST on 15^th Nov 09. Kitty, the volunteer, who was used to feeding her for a few months. Flora has already been living there for almost 2 years. Whenever she gives birth to babies, who were all taken by afcd n  some unknown people n she always looks very depressed n has no faith of people. Kitty said she was once kicked by a construction worker when she was pregnant. She used to hide in a dark place in the daytime n come out to eat at night.

There were 3 white cats poisoned n found dead in Kimberley road in TST nearby Hou Fok street within 2 months. Most volunteers didn’t go to the police as they are afraid this would provoke the cat killer to kill more cats n most of the time, the police is not interested in the case of animals abuse.    

Kitty not only feeds the stray cats but also takes them for desexing. She has been taking more than 60 stray cats for desexing in the past year n would keep doing this. Now there are still over 100 stray cats in TST, we hope the police can do more patrols so as to curb the increasing animal abuse and afcd should stop trapping n putting down them as well as more volunteers should do what kitty does to trap n desex the desperate stray cats in TST n bring them to our FREE ABC for desexing n not just feeding them.

The cat has been taken to HKCR n Dr joe has done an eye surgery for her. Although she is single eyed, she is getting well n waiting for a good family. pls kindly give her a new n happy life.

【本報訊】尖沙嘴出現虐貓狂徒，本月中動物義工發現一頭流連厚福街貓女左眼遭硬物刺穿，小貓經搶救保住性命卻左眼失明。數街之隔的金巴利道亦有冷血狂徒放毒餌，兩月內至少三頭白貓身亡。義工稱怕惹怒狂徒不敢報警，動物團體則指姑息會縱容惡行。
揭發刺貓案義工許小姐憶述事件仍然激動，她指受傷貓女約兩歲、身長兩呎，原本棲身於厚福街一個地盤，由其他動物義工餵飼，惟自本月 10日起失蹤。她指失蹤當晚，朋友原本打算捉貓女送交獸醫絕育，卻來遲一步。

9月已有人放毒餌

她續稱，「之後一連幾日一班義工周圍搵都冇發現，打定輸數，但仍然希望有奇蹟出現。」果然 15日晚 10時，許小姐行經厚福街，赫見小貓女瑟縮地盤入口一角。她走近一看，發現貓女左眼遭黑色穢物遮蔽，立即向獸醫求救。
經獸醫檢查，發現黑色穢物是乾涸血迹，原來貓女左眼遭硬物刺中，左眼球已經壞死需要即時取下，獸醫判斷貓女的傷勢屬人為，眼球是遭人以硬物故意刺中，貓女並無生命危險，但因捱餓數天營養不良，現時仍要留醫。
許小姐指，自 9月起，有狂徒於金巴利道一條後巷放置混有毒藥貓糧，幾日內有三頭大白貓送命，令一眾動物義工聞風喪膽，更擔心是同一人所為。
對接連發生刺盲眼及毒貓事件，許小姐稱沒有報警，原因是怕鬧大事件激怒虐貓狂徒，會對其他街貓下毒手。關注動物權益的動物地球總幹事黃繼仁表示，市民遇到虐殺動物事件應即時報警，讓警方跟進調查，現時虐殺動物最高罰款 20萬元及入獄 3年，雖然破案拉人機會不大，但報警可起阻嚇作用。他以「市民被打劫都唔會因為驚個賊報仇而唔報警」為例，直言姑息只會助長惡行。
