Dear volunteers of HKCR,

I am writing to thank you for your special arrangement for stray dogs in Tung Chung villages to have the de-sexing surgery in Dr. Joe’s clinic in Pui O. 

I know arranging the surgery in Pui O is not your normal practice. Therefore, I would like to give special thanks for your coordination for this exceptional case for those stray dogs in Tung Chung.

I would also ask you to convey my sincere thanks to Dr. Joe’s unselfish support and effort in helping stray animals. He is such a brave and bighearted veterinarian in Hong Kong. He shows understanding and pleasure to give a helping hand to the 2 mongrels in Tung Chung, and both will receive the de-sexing surgery in Pui O on 24 Oct, 2009. Please tell him that the sum of Okka and his contributions resulted in a major success that they should all be proud of taking part in.

I believe that the program of Animal Birth Control that participated in this effort have set a new standard for social responsibility to stray animals in this community, and have set a good example that will inspire other organizations or cities to do the same.

Remarks: I have already given the details of the 2 mongrels including the proof of the residential address to you by fax on 17^th Oct.2009.

在2010年2月26日，我帶了一隻混種小狗來做絕育頷術，那頭小狗是我朋友夫婦飼養的，他們沒有兒女，收養了這頭小狗作伴，但又不知到絕育對狗隻的益處，經我勸告和解釋後，決定把小狗交給我，讓我帶小狗進行絕育手術。由他們要上班工作，不便請假，又過著一般香港人的供樓生活，沒有太多餘錢，我便義務帶小狗到貓咪俱樂部交給dr.joe進行絕育手術，他只收回成本，手術很快便完成，現在小狗已經康復活蹦活跳，真的多謝dr.joe，呀晶小姐，以及所有義工。
